Thursday Thoughts: Generosity

Wonderful article today about Rollins College and George and Harriet Cornell... I grew up across the street from the Cornells. They were a dear, sweet couple who had a simple, gracious house.  As a child, I especially loved their Samoyed, who was so shy and cute.  The Cornells owned about a third of the block that their house was a part of and after their deaths, half of that property became a dog park, and the other part was subdivided into three lots for three new houses.  They blessed many, many people with their generosity...and were as down to earth as they could be.  It's too bad more people aren't like them today.
